Trio

June 2011: Trio is now up to five double Qs!

Trio was our long awaited Gala to Aragorn daughter, the only puppy who made it from what turned out to be a very nightmare-ish litter. However, she was born during our one year stay in the US and it was impractical for us to keep her despite really wanting to! We have decided on a compromise — she is co-owned with my friend Sue Klar, who will show her in conformation, agility, obedience and anything else Trio shows aptitude for. She will stay in the US, but once she is old enough, and assuming her health checks are OK, she will be making a trip to the UK to have a litter.

This little girl is having a great time doing lots of training: she's passed her Herding Instinct Test (and attended a herding seminar), she's training for going into the conformation rings, enjoys her rally classes and shows, and obviously does lots of agility! Here's a video of her winning 20'' Excellent B JWW at CATC in 2011 (at 2 years and 4 months).

Trio is a very friendly girl, who inherited her Dad's trainability — everybody who meets her is impressed with her focus and accuracy. She takes everything in her stride, and appears to think that all dogs are there to be played with... Trio has started competing in agility and she is showing an incredible amount of potential: attaining her first novice titles within two weekends of shows.
